Foundational Beliefs

In Christ, we are freed by His love and renewed by His truth. As the Church, we are called to pursue and encourage each person to live the life he has been called to

There is freedom in God’s truth, not just His love

Preaching about God’s love without sharing & standing in His truth disregards God’s power. We need a Savior, not just affection.

We don’t depend on the presence of LGBTQ+ people to create relationship, but rather our proactive invitation

The attitude of “you can come if you want” is much different than “you belong here”. We all naturally run toward acceptance. The World should not be more loving and welcoming to any group than the Church.

The Church is meant to call you by your name, not your behavior

Every person is imperfect and complex. No label or characteristic fully represents any of us. The Gospel speaks to the whole person: past, present, and future.

The Church’s task is to serve, not to save

The call of every follower is to welcome others into fellowship without expecting or forcing change. We love one another with an open heart and a discerning mind, trusting that God alone knows his plans for their lives.

God desires a willing heart, not an educated one

In God’s economy, the willingness to work has more value than any ability or expertise. The first step is not education, but humility.
